The Right Stuff

  • Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university AND/OR 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MBA a plus but not a requirement
  • Experience in an existing customer management or a marketing role a plus
  • Understanding of business financials, including ROI, Net Present Value, and business case preparation.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with senior executives and other business units to form strong cross org and cross enterprise wide relationships

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, energetic and flexible individual to join our International Business Unit as a Senior Existing Customer Manager.  Our team operationalizes, markets, and sells international programming packages, available in over 20 language groups, within the United States. 

 

The Senior Existing Customer Manager will be responsible for overseeing all strategies and tactics designed to maintain and grow the existing International subscriber bases of both DISH and Sling TV.  As our business grows, developing strong relationships with our existing customers will be paramount, resulting in decreased customer churn, increased average revenue per subscriber, and increased customer satisfaction.  This position will report to the Vice President of International Sales & Marketing.

 

The scope of the role may include but isn’t limited to developing customer retention strategies and offers and designing plans to increase upsell or cross sell opportunities with our existing subscriber base.  S/he will work cross functionality across the enterprise with key stakeholders from relevant business groups to ensure all business unit requirements are met, and initiatives can be launched without business disruption.

 

S/he should be comfortable working autonomously in a fast paced environment, taking the initiative, managing multiple reporting requirements and relationships with key stakeholders, and working to find creative solutions as needed.

 

The Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the existing customer lifecycle for DISH and Sling TV International programming subscribers.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to decrease customer churn, increase roll to pay metrics, and increase Average Revenue Per User via targeted cross and upsell campaigns.
  • Create business cases and financial models to identify the optimal tactic and investment level for various customer sub-segments, and work across the organization to implement those plans.
  • Partner with our Loyalty and Customer Service teams to optimize the customer experience by incorporating agent and customer feedback into future product launches and maintenance fixes.
  • Ensure that our customers experience the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
