Position Summary:
The Director, Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for managing the strategic and day-to day administration of HR for Spectrum Enterprise Sales employees across the Northeast sales territory, working in close partnership with assigned leader and team to create workable solutions that influence and sustain high levels of employee engagement and productivity to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
•Influences, develops, implements and/or maintains a variety of human resources programs and policies, often encompassing several areas of human resources, including organizational development, proactive employee and labor relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, or onsite safety.
•Focuses on service delivery, providing advice and recommendations.
•Addresses highly complex employee relations issues.
•Generates and implements solutions in partnership with COE experts.
•Delegates and oversees the solution management process for HR professionals within the organization to include mentoring, coaching and development.
•Defines short and long-term goals and objectives for human resource service delivery for assigned customer set.
Position Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Knowledge of Employment Law, Federal and State Employment Regulations also required.
•Minimum of 10+ years Human Resources Business Partner experience or equivalent overall Human Resources experience that can translate into strategic HR capabilities at an HR Business Partner level is required.
•4 to 6 years leadership experience managing and leading Senior HR professionals.
•Ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure, and meeting goals/deadlines is a must.
•Requires agility in dealing with immediate changes in the organization and projects.
•Must be willing to travel when necessary.
•Must possess interpersonal and communication behaviors that facilitate successful one-on-one and group interactions, while building strategic partnerships and relationships through the ability to influence, cultivate networks, and a compelling communications style.
•Must demonstrate leadership behaviors that guide others in the successful execution of their assigned responsibilities, and help them aspire to and achieve organizational outcomes. The incumbent must be able to build and energize talent through coaching and developing others; build strong strategic partnerships and relationships, and create alignment and accountability through empowerment and delegation; and drive efficiencies by leading change.
•Must possess management behaviors that guide or direct the business unit in achieving the outcomes necessary for organizational success. This individual will have a proven track record of effective business acumen and management that will include building organizational talent, driving execution, establishing strategic decisions, and driving efficiencies through effective operational decision making.
