About this job

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To support (a) Arby's Restaurant Group and its subsidiaries and related entities by providing (1) cost-effective and secure value-added cash management and Treasury services, (2) up-to-date Treasury expertise and advice, and (3) world class Treasury customer service; and (b) the Arby's franchise system with cost-effective value-added Treasury programs. To support Arby's Restaurant Group's Cash Management efforts and serve as back-up for Credit and Gift Card program functions.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: (Top 5 should cover 80% of the important job functions)
Credit Cards:
Support the day-to-day management of the Arby's credit card program and serve as subject matter expert (primary business contact for internal stakeholders, vendors and franchisees).
Provide periodic and ad hoc reporting (to include: monthly dashboard and store level reporting, semi-annual card association pricing updates, pricing proposals/business changes from existing vendors, bids from prospective vendors, trends in credit card usage and fees, downgraded transactions, impact of vendor/legislative mandates).
Monitor data security compliance (to include: working with Arby's IT, credit card processors, and franchisees to investigate any potential data security issues associated with credit card processing within the Arby's system).
Maintain merchant accounts, credit card responsibility matrix, and vendor contact lists.
Gift Cards:
Support the day-to-day to management of the Arby's gift card program and serve as subject matter expert (primary business contact for internal stakeholders, vendors and franchisees).
Provide ongoing analysis (to include: pricing proposals/business changes from existing vendors, bids from prospective vendors, trends in gift card usage, impact of vendor/legislative mandates).
Monitor daily gift card fraud reports for unusual activity and communicate with internal and external stake holders. Deactivate fraudulently purchased gift cards as required.
Manage gift card database and create queries, forms, and reports as required.
Provide periodic and ad hoc reporting (to include: monthly dashboard, weekly store level reporting, monthly ACH returns report, quarterly franchisee participation report, and period and quarter activity reporting) .
Assist with gift card reconciliation and provide additional information when necessary.
Maintain gift card information in the Treasury database, gift card responsibility matrix, and vendor contact lists.
Other Non-Cash Payment Methods:
Research and support alternate payment methods (to include: EBT, campus cards, mobile payments, emerging payments technologies).
Assistance with implementations, provide recommendations and ongoing analysis as directed.
Cash Management:
Serve as a cash management backup and perform all cash duties as required by the Treasury Manager in the absence of the primary cash management team member.
Special Projects:
Lead or support special projects as required or directed by the Treasury Manager or Treasurer.

Sort Mail: Assist in sorting Treasury mail.
Desktop Procedures: For all functions listed on this position description: keep own desktop procedures updated and respond to audit requests from internal and external auditors.
Support Mission Statement: Support the Treasury Mission Statement every day and engage in any Treasury related activities and projects as directed.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Required Minimum: Accredited Finance or Accounting undergraduate degree (or related).
Preferred: Accredited Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Preferred designations: Certified Cash Manager (CCM) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
 
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Required: 3 + years Electronic Payments (or related) Experience
Preferred: 2+ years corporate Treasury, Finance, or Accounting Experience
 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel (or similar)
Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook (or similar)
Experience with database applications such as Microsoft Access (or similar)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task effectively
Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills
Well-organized and a self-starter
Excellent attention to detail
