Optum Analytics is looking for a passionate and independent thinking person who can help our client’s  using technology and services to improve the quality, cost and efficiency of the health care system.  Optum Analytics develops cutting edge analytics for health care payers and providers that present insights that help improve the cost, quality and efficiency of health care.  The environment is aggressive, fast paced and innovative.  As Director of Business Opportunity for Optum Analytics - Payer, you will:


Assist in the development of a global growth strategy


Lead growth strategy session with matrix peers to develop recommendations for new products (enhancements/acquisitions) and new markets (partnerships)

Help with product roadmap process on future development, by working with our clients, product management and our growth office team (solution sales and client management)

Partner with peers in a matrix environment to understand budget opportunity


Visualize opportunities for process and product improvement

Work to better align matrix resources

Focus on cost containment, including managing our 2017 IT Infrastructure move from Boston to Minnesota.

Since part of the role is to work on extending our reach, including globally with our software, applicants must have a valid passport and have the ability to travel to foreign countries.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
 
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience3+ years of experience with a Payer analytics company 3+ years’ experience in IT management role3+ years in customer facing role (can be concurrent with the other roles)3+ years with managing vendor relations (internal or external)
2+ years of experience leading/ strategizing business growth
Must be able to travel globally at least 20% of the time
