Victory Lap Bar and Grill, located inside of Accelerate Indoor Speedway & Events is looking for a friendly, outgoing, high energy Food Service Associate ready to take their skills to the next level.  Victory Lap is located in the new indoor Go Kart facility opening in Mokena.  We will offer a full menu for dine in as well as catering options for our many events. You'll perform basic service duties and handle delivery of food to all guests.  The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as part of a team. FOOD SERVICE ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• The food runner is a crucial restaurant position whose responsibility is

          communicating with guests and supporting (HOH) kitchen staff.

 

• The food runner acts as a connection between the FOH and HOH that really

          makes a difference in timeliness of service.

 

• The main responsibility for this position is to deliver food to guests in a

          friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.

 

• Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu.

 

• Delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently.

 

• Communicating clearly with the kitchen, front of the house staff, and the

          guests

 

• It takes skill and organization to be an effective food runner.

 

• When the food runner delivers the food, she may also check whether the

          customer has everything he needs and deliver any additional items the guest

          Needs.

 

• Food runners are the last line of defense before a customer views his meal, so

          they need to ensure the quality and accuracy of the orders.

 

• Food Runners might also be responsible for handling other duties such as

         pouring water and removing glasses or dishes.
