MAINTENANCE WORKER - Warwick Mall - Warwick, RI

Essential Functions:

Working in a multi-point-of-service environment, the ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced in the following:

• Basic Plumbing Repairs
• Basic Carpentry
• Painting
• Window Cleaning
• Basic Mechanical Experience (seat repair) 

Qualifications:

Position involves shifts/hours during non-operational periods (early mornings). All candidates subject to pre-employment background screening.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
• One year of work experience doing any combination of the following: plumbing, carpentry, painting, window cleaning, basic mechanical experience.
• Required to be 18 years of age or older
• Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the cinema
• Required to work on any assigned shift; required to work weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience showing versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
• Experience in a team environment
• Experience understanding and following written and verbal instructions
• Skilled in written and oral communication

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to:

• Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear
• Stand and walk almost the entire workday
• Lift and carry up to 45 lbs
• Pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, handling and grasping, twisting/turning
