Logistic Dispatcher - Full-time / Part-time

Dispatchers are needed immediately in the Visalia area!!!

The Dispatcher(s) is to communicate with his/her AM every time there is a misunderstanding and HTS needs to communicate to the client.

The Following is a brief description of job duties:

Loading Dispatch

• Verifying that each carrier loads the correct commodity, the correct quantity at the correct temperature, and double check that each carrier checks in at shed at the set appointment time and within shed working hours. Also, don’t forget to check if the truck being loaded is the truck and driver that the AM contracted

Responsibilities -

• Making sure to do all the loads for one customer before moving on to another. Check the loading times and sort them in the order they are loading. If the appointments or shed closing times are at 6 pm do those before the ones due at 8 pm (NOT FORGETTING TIME ZONES).

Procedure

• For each order: finding where the truck is located by referring to the loading sheet, find out when the last order update was sent to the client by checking the back of the order, by tracking updates in Dr. Dispatch, or by looking up the last email sent to that customer by their broker, or call the truck to see where they are. (If there are no note please note this)
• Make sure the truck is checked in at the appointment time or before the shed closes. You must verify with the shed. You cannot just take the truck’s driver word unless the shed will not answer. (Note this on the order)
• Verify the truck was loaded with the correct case count. Verify this with the shed and note it on the order. Note it on Dr. Dispatch on the weekdays and Sat morning.
• Once the truck is loaded, email the customer with the loaded case count.

Must be able to work the following shifts:

• Evening and graveyard shifts from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm, 5 pm - 2:00 am & 9 pm - 2:00 am.
• Must be able to work WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS!!!

Pay: $12.00 /hr
