Engineer IV (expert) - HVAC - Full-time

Primary Responsibility

Ideal candidate will be responsible for the a/c tech maintenance of all refrigeration, heating and kitchen equipment and to assist in other areas of engineering as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

• Will be required to troubleshoot any electrical problems
• Will need to solder copper tubing, clean coils and change filters on the PM maintenance program.
• Must be able to align belts and pulleys and maintain a centrifugal chiller.
• Maintain chilled water cooling systems and chilled water tower
• Will be required to order parts for all equipment as needed
• Will do plumbing repairs and install new plumbing and maintain water heaters.
• Executives all job duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the Safety procedures within the department.

General Skills/Qualifications

• Must be a/c certified
• Must have computer skills
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Must have 5 years minimum experience being an a/c mechanic in a commercial setting.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
