As a Senior Recruiter at our Mrs. Smith’s Pie facility you will be responsible for sourcing, identifying, qualifying, attracting, and retaining quality employees for the company. This position has appreciable latitude for unreviewed action or decisions and may interpret and apply organization policy.

  • Develops and executes progressive integrated recruitment solutions using direct sourcing, industry networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, minority and trade job fairs, and college programs.
  • Consults and partners with hiring managers on interviewing techniques and employment practices. Interfaces and consults with hiring manager to understand business and recruitment needs to develop business partnerships and project future workforce needs.
  • Works closely with outside sources in recruiting applicants, possesses proven negotiation skills and works with internal and external constituents to build Schwan's employment brands and make Schwan's the employer of choice.
  • Works with internal and external constituents to develop network with professional organizations, minority and public service agencies.
  • Interviews and qualifies prospective quality candidates, evaluates candidate's backgrounds, makes hiring recommendations, and extends offers of employment.
  • Assembles documentation involving employment packages and partners with members of the Corporate Human Resource unit throughout the recruiting process.
  • Prepares reports documenting recruitment activity and effectiveness.
  • Manages, coaches, and develops members of the recruiting team providing leadership and direction to direct reports.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Years of Related Experience: Minimum 4 years Recruiting related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • ·Advanced proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows environment to include the Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Advanced proficiency with numeric data analysis
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills and good negotiation skills that enable interpretation and application of organization policies.
  • ·Demonstrated ability to provide assistance with mentoring and/or evaluation of lower level staff.
