Evening Supervisor - Indianapolis - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description

Will supervise a cleaning team of typically 3-10 cleaners to ensure that all cleaning requirements are done to specification.  Will train new cleaners and retrain existing cleaners, as necessary.  Is responsible for the organization of the supply closet(s) and for periodic ordering of supplies and chemicals.  Also, responsible for accurate completion of weekly timesheets.  Supervisors are moving and on their feet the entire shift length.  Walking, bending and squatting are done throughout the shift.  Supervisors at smaller jobs will typically have a mix of cleaning and supervision hours each evening.

Cleaning Duties (include but are not limited to)

• Providing full service cleaning to a limited number of suites
• Cleaning/stocking restrooms and break rooms throughout the facility
• Maintaining other common areas including elevators, lobbies, and entrances
• Dusting
• Vacuuming
• Emptying garbage cans
• Sweeping/mopping floors

Requirements

• Ability to effectively and positively communicate with clients and fellow employees/supervision
• Prompt and very consistent attendance critical
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform duties with restricted communications while in client areas
• Basic knowledge of Spanish helpful
• Good physical health – job requires good fitness/strength, including an ability to walk throughout the day and move heavier loads (up to 35lbs.) as required

Hours

Approximate hours are 5:30-12:30pm, Monday to Friday, but vary based on the particular job site and specifications.
