This candidate will be working for a company that produces and distributes tile for home builders and contractors! This candidate must come to the table with experience in the tile industry.
Responsibilities:
Dress code: Jeans and a nice t-shirt, as employees may interact with customers
This is a temporary to hire opportunity!
This candidate will be working for a company that produces and distributes tile for home builders and contractors! This candidate must come to the table with experience in the tile industry.
Responsibilities:
- Counting, sorting all order goods
- Operating a forklift
- Inspecting shipments, making sure there are no damages and discrepancies
- Coordinating with customer service and other employees to ensure smooths shipment of goods
- Verify information against orders, invoices or other records
- Affixes shipping labels and documentation on packed cartons or pallets
- Identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or pallets
- Examines shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
- Order pulling
- Checking in material
- MUST have experience in the tile industry. This could be in the form of laying tile on a new construction site, laying tile in homes & businesses, working in a warehouse that makes tile, etc.
- MUST have a valid forklift certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively manage time and take orders
- Have experience in a warehouse
