Admissions Representative

Overview

As an Admissions Representative at Gene Juarez Academy, you will show prospective students how our Academies are places full of creativity and success; a place that all future cosmetologists should explore.

Reporting to: Campus General Manager and Assistant Director of Enrollment

Responsibilities

The Admissions Representative (field) contributes to the overall success of the company by developing strategic relationships with local high schools and surrounding communities in assigned area to raise awareness and generate interest in Gene Juarez Academies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Promoting Gene Juarez Academies' enrollment opportunities and programs to potential students in the surrounding communities, via phone calls, emails and face-to-face visits both on and off campus;
• Generate leads to increase enrollment;
• Present and promote to a variety of audiences including prospective students regarding the value of a Gene Juarez Academy education
• Make contact and develop relationships with High School counselors and administrators
• Participate in a variety of projects and events related to student recruitment both on and off campus
• "Owning" the student admissions process, including initial inquiries from parents;
• Campus tours, and ensuring a "celebrity experience" for the enrolling family;

20% of the time spent in Mountlake Terrace/Federal Way locations in admissions

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum one year admissions experience
• Marketing and/or sales experience (preferred);
• Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills;
• Adept problem-solving skills,
• High social skills, persuasive oral and advanced written communication skills;
• Personal motivation and passion about achieving goals and deadlines;
• A high level of integrity and professionalism;
• Reliable transportation with ability to travel up to 80% locally between campuses and for community events
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or GED required
