Staff Accountant

MUST HAVES:
-General understanding of Accounting practices and principles
-Previous Administrative experience
-Proficiency with Excel

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will be directly reporting to the Controller. This individual will be filling a key role within the accounting department where they will support various aspects of finance and accounting.

The candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assisting in audits, monitoring business metrics, maintaining the general ledger, follow up with clients on past due payments, updating financial spreadsheets, and other essential duties needed to support an accurate and timely year end close.

70% AP & Reconciliations
25% AR/ Posting Payments
5% Payroll & Customer Service
