Histotechnologist/Histotechnician

Role Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Histotechnologist/Histotechnician to join a client's laboratory team. This candidate will play a critical role in the preparation of tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologists, contributing directly to accurate diagnoses and patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory protocols, safety standards, and quality control procedures. They will need to collaborate closely with pathologists, laboratory technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that specimens are handled efficiently and meet all regulatory and clinical standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
• Proficiency in microtomy, staining, and embedding.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical histology lab setting.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
