About the Role:
CAS-Homecare Health Services LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate CNA/GMA to join our growing team in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
- Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote independence and safety
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands to support client well-being
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and supervising nurses regarding care updates
- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all state and agency compliance standards
Requirements:
- Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or GMA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) license with the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- Prior experience in total care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home care environment
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Baltimore, MD area
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor with a genuine passion for caregiving
