UPS is hiring individuals to work as Part-Time Tractor Trailer Yard Shifters. This is not an over the road driving position but Tractor Trailer driving experience is required. This job requires continuous coupling and uncoupling of tractor trailer and shifting of equipment. Primary time will be spent moving and maneuvering tractor trailer equipment into position for the tractor trailer and package handling operations. May include other "work as directed" activities.
All shifts work 5 days or nights per week for 3 to 5 hours per day depending on package volume. An average work week is approximately 15 to 20 hours. During peak periods, you might work up to 25 hours per week.
