These are also the principles we look for in potential new hires. This position is responsible for the coordination of daily warehouse operations of inbound and outbound activities. Job Description:

* Directs workforce in the coordination of inbound and outbound activities for daily warehouse operations.

* Directs workforce where to put product that is being loaded.

* Accurately documents inbound and outbound activities.

* Validates cross docks for accuracy and compliance.

* Coordinates workload of yard jockey/hiker. Assigns the inbound and outbound activities appropriately.

* Coordinates staging of built pallets.

* Verifies ASN pallets for accuracy.

* Maintains cleanliness of work areas.

* Inspects condition of trailers and tractors.

* Communicates performance issues to Supervisors.

* Oversees safety of dock area.

* Acts as Point of Contact (POC) for the dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) carriers.

* Tracks carriers’ clock-in and clock-out times.

* Assigns picking tasks to available resources in the warehouse.

* Receives and creates cross docks in SAP.

* Maintains the OOS table in POD and communicates to the floor.

* Sequences loads to the teams and/or employees in POD.

* Views warehouse stock reports (DSI reports).

* Coordinates trailers to the docks for outbound loading and delivery.

* Accountable for all product, including CO2 tanks, loaded onto each truck before it leaves for delivery to the customer.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

* Responsible for the daily coordination of outbound customer orders; includes assigning picking tasks, coordinating trailers to the docks, inspecting trailers and validating accuracy of order prior to delivery. Physical/Environmental Functions:

* Sitting: Frequently sedentary in an office environment, behind a desk (typing, answering phone, research online)

* Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)

* Speaking: Constantly (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)

* Typing: Frequently using a keyboard for day-to-day business (email, reports, instant messaging)

* Mobility: Occasional travel throughout the office environment (go to meetings, greeting visitors)

Job Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED preferred with a minimum of 1-year work experience.

* Prior experience in warehouse or distribution operations environment.

* Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve required.

* Good analytical, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills necessary.

* Proficient with PC systems and software applications including Microsoft Office, Excel and SAP.

* Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

* Strong attention to detail; capable of handling multiple tasks at once while meeting various deadlines.

* Strong verbal and written communications skills.

* Capable of dealing with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

* Able to read and recognize pick product labels, invoices and other shipping/receiving papers.

* Customer focused.

* Strong conflict resolution skills.

* Strong leadership skills.

* Capable of lifting CO2 canisters.
