Manager Restaurant

IHOP Restaurant group in Richmond, VA area including Glen Allen, is looking for high energy Managers. Candidate must have a proven track record of success in providing leadership, developing staff, effectively managing food and labor cost, following and implementing SOPs and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have a minimum of two years of Manager experience in a fast-paced full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage day to day operations of restaurant
• Follow and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Take operational responsibility of restaurant
• Ensure compliance of company’s policies and guidelines
• Recruit, hire, train, retain and develop quality staff
• Provide leadership and training to personnel; recognize and motivate members of the team; coach and train the team for operational excellence
• Ensure Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met
• Control two key financial items by maintaining inventory and managing labor efficiently
• Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a Preventative Maintenance Plan based on Company Standards
• Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction

• Stable work history
• Restaurant Manager: at least 2 years in full-service restaurant
• Willing to work any day including weekends and holidays
