Position Overview:
The Oncology Pharmacist will be responsible for providing specialized pharmaceutical care services and expertise in oncology. This role involves direct patient care, chemotherapy preparation, medication therapy management, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized pharmaceutical care in oncology settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
- Manage and dispense chemotherapy medications.
- Conduct drug utilization reviews and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
Shift:
- Monday-Friday: 7:30am-5:00pm
Qualifications:
- Active and ClearLouisiana Pharmacist License
- 1+ year of oncology experience
