Job Description
Overview of the Position:
Customer Service Specialist assist with improving the guest experience. The CSS will answer questions, direct incoming phone calls, and assist with wayfinding while supporting the organizations mission and values. Works in collaboration with multiple areas of the organization to enhance the customer experience.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Previous customer services experience preferred
Required Skills / Abilities:
• Understand company and program policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Active listening
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• No direct Reports
Essential Job Functions:
• Greeting customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using procedures learned during new-hire training.
• Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy.
• Communicate effectively with individuals/teams in the program
• Participation in training opportunities to enhance knowledge such as conferences and continuing education/in-service events.
• Ability to multi task
• Ability to give clear direction
• Help patients navigate to different HopeHealth departments
• Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Vision and hearing corrected to within normal limits is required. Must have manual dexterity to key in data; utilize computer, grab, grip, hold, tear, cut, sort, and reach.
