Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Position Overview: As a Warehouse Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics, inventory management, and distribution within our car wash company. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track stock movements, and conduct regular audits to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of goods, accurate order processing, and efficient distribution to car wash locations.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of products. Implement and enforce best practices for warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods to car wash locations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback as needed. Foster a positive work environment focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure that products meet company standards and customer expectations. Address any issues related to product quality or discrepancies in shipments.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts as needed. Evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Inventory Forecasting: Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast future inventory needs accurately. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to anticipate demand and plan inventory accordingly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipping documents, and other relevant paperwork. Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and logistics metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the automotive or car wash industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, logistics best practices, and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
