Inventory Clerk

JOB PURPOSE:

·         This position will work within the stock room/storage; with the purpose of always maintain healthy inventory levels of spare parts, while minimizing excess or out of stock supply.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• High School Degree or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Manufacturing or industrial experience
• Inventory control experience

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

• Knowledge of data analysis
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, electronic and automation components.
• Forklift experience is a plus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Manage, monitor, and maintain healthy MIN and MAX inventory levels of spare parts, while minimizing excess or out of stock supply.

·         Update or create missing MAX and MIN based on statistical usage of parts.

·         Reconciling stock counts reports.

·         Sort, organize and label of the whole inventory according to company standards, always in compliance with Local Code and BRC requirements.

·         Do a physical and total inventory at least once a year.

·         Make sure that system matches to what is physically available to have an accurate stock value.

·         Create barcode assets system for issue tracking purpose.

·         initiate actions to replenish stock by communicating with Purchasing and other departments, transfer orders, or related paperwork.
