Job Summary
Mirbeau Inn and Spa is looking to add a Host/Hostess to the Wine Bar and Bistro in our
Plymouth Mirbeau
Inn & Spa location.
Responsibilities Ensure tables, silverware and glasses are clean and properly set up. Take and schedule reservations by phone and in person. Greet guests, escort them to their tables, present menus, and make course recommendations upon request. Ensure guests receive prompt courteous service and respond to complaints and comments or refer the responses to the Restaurant Manager. Supervise service to assist servers when needed. Complete the guest satisfaction cycle by thanking guests and inviting them to return with a fond farewell. Ensure no section of the dining room is overlooked. Check with the guest if everything is satisfactory. Refill water for guests at tables. Care for decoration of the dining room for special events if needed. Perform any assignments as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements This position requires a pleasant personality and neat appearance, along with excellent people, verbal and writing skills. Prior experience in the industry is preferred.
