Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join this district's special education team for the school year. As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with developmental, sensory, and physical disabilities. The ideal candidate for this position will work full-time, 5days a week with elementary-highschool students. Starting pay for this position is $40/hour, and be negotiated based on background/experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students with developmental, sensory, and physical disabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target specific areas of need, such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school team members to ensure continuity of care and support for students with disabilities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' occupational therapy goals and progress
  • Provide consultation and training to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to support students with disabilities in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports


Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • CDE SSP license
  • Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
