Salary: $23-27

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Coordinator Central Supply will coordinate and oversee ordering, receiving and distribution of all specialty materials,
supplies, and patient equipment for the department to ensure ongoing maintenance of proper stock levels in accordance with
established policies, standards and accrediting. Will also be responsible for all aspects of inventory management for both
stock and non-stock products. Responsible to maintain all in house code carts. Supervise all CSS/Linen staff.


QUALIFICIATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years leadership experience in a supply/distribution environment
  • 2+ years supply chain distribution experience in a health care environment


REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to speak English fluently.
  • Excellent organization skills. Ability to demonstrate good business practices and exercise sound judgment.
  • Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the practice, methods and protocols of ordering and charge procedures.
  • Demonstrates ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills for improving efficiencies and operational activities.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions by projecting appositive attitude to job, workplace and others.
  • Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the practices, methods and techniques of conducting physical inventory counts.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBLIITIES:

General:

  • With Supervisor, contribute to strategic plan for department services.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback and evaluate service/department.
  • With Supervisor, incorporate findings into plans to modify program/service delivery.
  • Maintain supply/linen level in all Nursing units.
  • Inspect supply areas, rotate dated materials.
  • Maintain and update all in house CODE BLUE Carts
  • Use of MMIS to manage inventory.

Management

  • In collaboration with Supervisor, train, make staff schedules, develop and direct assigned staff to meet departmental objectives.
  • Provide timely coaching and performance feedback.
  • Deploy staff appropriately to meet business goals.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • This is an hourly, non-exempt position. 
  • The starting hourly pay for this position is $23.36 - $27.25.
  • This is a non-union role.
  • Tentative start date is April 1, 2024. Day Shift.
