Accounts Receivable II

Title: Accounts Receivable II
Reports to: Credit Manager
Classification: Hourly / Non - Exempt

Handle the daily flow of income from Ace Mart’s credit customers to Ace Mart’s lockbox through the timely and accurate posting of payments to their accounts. Assist in the initial review and follow-up of Credit Agreements and assist Credit & Collections Associates, store associates, and credit customers with information and account updates as needed.

What You Will Do

1. Keep Credit & Collections Associates updated regarding account payment status.

2. Conduct the initial review and follow-up on Credit Agreements.

3. Assist in assigning job numbers and large check acceptance procedures.

4. Assist in generating and mailing monthly statements and past due letters.

5. Assist Credit and Collections with obtaining payment and invoice information.

6. Assist store associates and charge account customers with credit raises, authorized to charge updates, and other information requests.

7. Monitor the AST email account and forward information on a timely basis.

8. Assist other accounting staff with special projects as needed.

9. Perform other duties assigned by the Controller.

What You Will Need

· Excellent customer service skills, dependability and a team player mindset

· Pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· One to Two years Accounts Receivable/Accounting experience
