Position: Facilities Maintenance Worker

Department: Facilities

Shift: (Fulltime 40hrs/week) Tuesday-Friday (four 10’s schedule)

Salary Range: $24.92/hour - $32.54/hour. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Position Requirements: High School diploma or equivalency required. Experience in building/property maintenance required. Certificate in RRP (renovate, repair, painting), HVAC Certification and State of Oregon Electrician-limited building maintenance license preferred. Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.

Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine building and grounds maintenance tasks in carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing. In addition, the Facilities Worker performs a variety of remodeling and construction services. Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required: Must be knowledgeable in all routine maintenance and preventive maintenance skills. Must be able to lift 50lbs or more and have a keen eye for detail. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance required, meeting agency insurance standards.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (preferred):

  • Candidates must be legally employable by a U.S. business
  • Certificate in RRP (renovate, repair, painting)
  • HVAC Certification
  • State of Oregon Electrician-limited building maintenance license

Working conditions: This position works in an office environment/residential home and outside. This position is not remote.
