Zeus Fire and Security, an Access Holdings private equity portfolio company, is a top 25 security company nationally and continues to grow rapidly through acquisition. Due to the company’s ongoing plans for growth, Zeus is hiring an experienced Corporate Development analyst to help lead acquisition underwriting, valuation, and diligence.

This role is both individual and team-based in nature and is part of a high-performance, fast-paced, and rewarding team culture. This unique role also provides end-to-end exposure to the M&A acquisition process from NDA through closing.

We are seeking an M&A professional with 1-2 years of applicable work experience, including experience in one of the following (preferably with a “Big 4” public accounting firm or other top ten national firms): transaction advisory services, investment banking, commercial banking, financial consulting, financial audit, or other M&A experience.

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Additional duties and responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to VP of Corporate Development; works intimately with Financial and Integration teams
  • Analyze new acquisition opportunities and prepare financial analysis by reviewing historical financial and operational performance at the company to identify key drivers of value and risk and surfacing necessary follow-ups and gaps in information.
  • Assist the Business Development and Operations teams in developing strategic rationale and synergy opportunities for each acquisition.
  • Complete accurate and thorough worksheets, reports, briefs, and proposals within agreed-upon timeframes while tracking and communicating progress to senior management along the way.
  • Assist in managing in-depth due diligence efforts.
  • Liaise with internal department leadership team to ensure operational awareness and preparedness for closing and integration
  • Write and submit for approval the detailed board approval memorandum
  • Assist with ad hoc requests to support board presentations, capital raises, and budgeting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years of experience in related field
  • Executive-level written and oral communication skills with all levels of the organization (internal and external)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge, and proficient use of other MS Office applications, specifically PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, lead, and succeed in a fast-paced and unconventional work environment, including managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Possess an uncommon drive and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must be able to travel (occasionally) based on client and business needs
