Assistant Professor of Accounting

Lyon College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting starting in
August, 2024. Candidates are expected to have the ability to teach introductory accounting as
well as a range of upper-level accounting courses. The ability to teach intermediate, cost,
governmental/non-profit, auditing, and corporate finance is desirable. An earned Masters of
Accountancy degree, with a CPA credential, and accounting experience is preferred.
Candidates with a doctorate in accounting or business administration with a CPA credential are
encouraged to apply. Experience at a small, residential liberal arts college as a student or
faculty member and an understanding of the professional expectations at such an institution are
desirable.
Lyon College is a private, selective liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church
