What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT Operations, to gather and understand business requirements related to key DoD medical logistics functions, specifically related to Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM)
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the PP and PM domain, utilizing SAP capabilities and best practices.
  • Work with customers to design and configure SAP solutions, particularly in PP and PM, to streamline processes, improve inventory accuracy, and enhance overall logistics efficiency.
  • Perform testing, and documentation to support process improvements and business requirements.
  • Assist teams in troubleshooting and resolution of SAP-related issues 
  • Collaborate with other SAP consultants and vendors when necessary, ensuring seamless integration and performance of SAP modules.


What You Will Need:

  • Experience with large scale agile approaches such as SAFe
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business Management or related field 
  • Proven experience in configuring SAP solutions in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules
  • Proven experience in SAP ABAP workbench


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Sound understanding of SAP extension technologies
  • SAFe certifications
  • Very good understanding of standard SAP Integration techniques (like ALE IDOCs, XI/PI RFC, Data loads, EDI, Flat file, BDCs...)
  • Excellent in analyzing business requirements and translating into IT design
  • Experience in business operations and process engineering, in particular in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience in development life cycle, release management 
  • Experience with Supply Chain IT solutions, particularly medical logistics
  • Knowledge of other SAP modules
  • A+, Network+ or Security+ Certification
The annual salary range for this position is $115,200.00-$172,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
