We are seeking an innovative and engaging Executive Sous Chef to join a high-end hotel near Daytona Beach, FL. This chef will provide oversight to all outlets and catering operations while streamlining efficiency across the brand. Ideally, they would love a creative chef who can bring new life to their menus making each concept unique. This opportunity is ideal for an innovative chef to join an industry-leading group of professionals in a picturesque setting.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (Commensurate with experience) + bonus, health, vision, dental, 401k, PTO, and a healthy work-life balance.
Relocation expenses will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Chef Management Experience overseeing
- Previous experience in upper-tier establishments, luxury, or fine dining
- Hotel or Resort experience a plus or have a strong understanding of catering operations
- Should be highly creative and come with working knowledge of multiple styles/cuisines
- Superb communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative new menus for all food and beverage outlets
- Cost analysis, budgeting, and inventory tracking
- Interview, hire, train, and evaluate all food and beverage team members
- Must stay up to date with industry trends, practices, and procedures
- Ensure all safety procedures are being followed and meet all federal, state, and local health and sanitation standards
