Doggie Daycare Part Time Dog Handler/Group Leader at Wags and Whiskers

Wags And Whiskers in Little Rock, AR is looking for one doggie daycare group leader to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on 9301 Treasure Hill Rd.. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working.

This is a fun action packed job! If you love staying busy, multi-tasking and feel you are great at handling stressful situations this just might be the job for you. You will be on your feet an entire shift so it is important you are physically fit.

We are looking to hire one part -time Dog Handler/Pack Leader. We need someone with great work ethics, who thrives in a fast paced environment, is great at keeping up with the details, can think fast on their feet, and can move quickly,. This is a physical job so if you enjoy working hard in all aspects of caregiving, you just might be the one.  Duties include supervising, training, loving, feeding, and playing with dogs and all the cleaning that comes along with caring for a dog and their housing.

Candidates must have good memory retention to learn/remember dog names, their behaviors and personalities; Must be able to give great attention to detail... must be observant to notice limps, scratches, smells, changes in behavior, impending escalation of excitement, etc.

We are open 6:00am to 6:00pm. All full time and part time team members are required to work some weekend hours. We do work some holidays, alternating employees.

PART TIME employees start at $13.00-13.50/Full Time 14.00 per hour with a raise after 90 probation period if passing evaluation.

Paid vacation after one year of employment if you are working 32-40 per week.

Free doggie daycare while working for one personal dog after one month employment

Discounted boarding of 30% after one month employment

Use of our bathing area for dog bating purposes free of charge for personal dogs.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $13.00 - $13.01/hour.
