JOB DESCRIPTION                                              

TITLE:                      E-Commerce Shipping & Inventory Specialist

DEPARTMENT:     E-Commerce                                                                                        

REPORTS TO:        E-Commerce Team Lead

FLSA STATUS:        Non-Exempt

The Shipping & Inventory Specialist will be responsible for total inventory management
including shipping for all GITA e-commerce products.

Essential Functions

• Accurately pull, package, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with customer and
  GITA expectations
• Utilize shipping software & iPhone to fulfill orders
• Meeting daily, weekly & monthly production/performance goals
• Accurately enter listed merchandise into inventory system
• Demonstrates safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety
  culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements

• Education equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with securely and appropriately packaging a wide variety of items for shipment required
• Experience utilizing iPhone & apps, required
• Experience with inventory management, preferred
• Experience with shipping via third-party shipping carriers preferred
• Experience buying/selling online using Ebay, Amazon, Shopify, etc. preferred
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as to work independently
• Ability to be flexible as the scope of responsibilities can change often due to business needs
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity & meeting production goals

Essential Physical Abilities:
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds; Standing (while packaging items) for long periods of time;
bending over frequently to package items for shipment.

Working Conditions:
Small warehouse working environment. Lifting of heavy totes/items daily. Occasional use of
dollies & pallet jacks to move product.
