Job Title: .NET Developer with Python

Type: Hybrid mode (3 days onsite)


Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled senior developer to join our team, focusing on developing, enhancing, and supporting critical applications primarily built in .NET 4.6+ with some Python work. The successful candidate will collaborate with technical and business colleagues locally in Jersey City, as well as international teams in Singapore, India, and London. You'll be an integral part of a distributed development team spanning across multiple locations, with existing team members providing support for onboarding and familiarization.


Team Overview:
GCDW Technology provides a comprehensive application suite supporting Collateral eligibility, Margin Calls, Collateral balances, exposure trades, and Reference data for Collateral Margin management and regulatory reporting needs across various business lines. Our platform offers a centralized source for real-time visibility into firm and client collateral, optimizing day-to-day funding efficiency.


Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, support, enhance, extend, test, and deliver both existing and new software solutions, either independently or as part of a team.
• Collaborate closely with multi-regional teams, adhering to Agile best practices.
• Engage in all phases of software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, L3 support, requirements gathering, and creation of functional specifications documents.
• Demonstrate deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.), along with understanding of API design and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Git/Bitbucket, Autosys or similar job scheduler, .NET framework 4.5+ / .NET CORE (C#), Python, REST Web API, Angular, JavaScript, and ASP.Net MVC.
• Exhibit problem analysis and resolution skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Function effectively as both a team player and an independent contributor, with a penchant for innovation and suggesting new ideas, methodologies, and technologies.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with expertise in .NET framework and Python.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development, Web Services (REST, SOAP), and API design principles.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Git/Bitbucket, and job scheduling tools like Autosys.
• Experience with both .NET CORE (C#) and ASP.Net MVC frameworks.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular and JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and business stakeholders across different regions.
