Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding and training new hires. The ideal candidate will be able to work from the office, have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and have a proven track record in recruiting and staff management.
The right candidate's job duties will include but will not be limited to attending meetings with the team members, screening resumes, interviewing candidates over the phone and in person, consulting with hiring managers and company HR representatives to learn what skills and experience they are looking for, and attending networking events.
You will be able to match qualified candidates with the right position that aligns with their background and be able to work across multiple verticals.
You are a self-starter and highly motivated to learn the business, learn the systems, and learn processes. You are a great problem solver and will want to grow with the business. You will be able to work independently in the office. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be focusing primarily on recruiting candidates that meet the job criteria of our clients. You will serve as recruitment specialists for our office, leading the strategies and procedures for all aspects of the recruitment process. The goal is to anticipate the organization’s needs based on growth, goals, and change to get new employees in positions efficiently. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work in all industries and as a representative of our company to potential applicants and clients, you will need to ensure a good experience and convey the branding of our organization.
You need excellent interpersonal skills. Your job revolves around your work with clients and candidates. You will need to know how to read people to find and pitch the right candidates to fit our client’s needs. You are essentially an employment matchmaker, and your career success is directly tied to your matchmaking abilities. You need great people skills and an outgoing personality to carry you through networking events, interviews, and day-to-day communications with our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop recruitment strategies to identify qualified candidates
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and making offers
- Ensure legal compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain current applicant tracking records and prepare reports within the tools provided
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job qualifications and develop recruitment strategies
- Leverage social media and other recruitment tools to source and recruit passive candidates
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires
- Provide guidance and support to new hires during onboarding and training
- Document processes that are unique to our office
Requirements and Qualifications
- Able to work onsite in an office 5 days a week
- 2+ years of experience in a staffing and recruitment role preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in the MS Office suite and HR database software
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems
- Local travel within Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri (typically no more than a couple of hours out of Northwest AR)
