Parking & Highway Improvement Apprentice Laborer (Union)

We are looking for hardworking individuals with a clean driving record (minor infractions ok) interested in a career in the pavement marking industry. Safety Striping has been an industry leader since 1950. We selectively work projects throughout most of the State of California. We apply (and remove) pavement markings, striping and other delineation products and devices on roadways, highways, freeways and airports. Most all work is prevailing wage which provides excellent wages and benefits. This is an apprenticeable trade. We are signatory to the Northern and Southern California Laborers. Current journeyman Laborers will also be considered based on knowledge skill and ability. Unlike most other Laborer's, we are a specialized trade; employees don't usually find themselves on the out of work list. Weather permitting, we are working. Per diem and motel arrangements are made for employees working out of town. We are a DOT safety sensitive employer. Drugs are not tolerated and all employees are subject to pre-employment as well as random drug tests. All applicants will have to complete an orientation boot camp to qualify for acceptance into the laborer's union.
