Job Description
Summary: Seeking two Infrastructure Hardware Engineers for a 12+ month contract to support operating systems, server hardware, and configure private cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Support of the hardware infrastructure including compute server, storage, and complex on premises compute environments
Communicate any risks or issues involving system performance, availability, or security
Requirements:
Must hold a U.S. government DOD - Secret issued security clearance
BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics with 2+ years of related work experience
Experience with Windows and/or Linux System Administration
Experience in COTS product installation for Hardware and Software products
Experience with software installation and configuration and O/S builds
Scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash)
Experience with code repository systems (ClearCase, Bit Bucket)
Architecture and design experience of on premises COTS Infrastructure (IT)
Able to obtain a Security Plus certification within 90 days of start
Experience with Change Management processes - Version Control of software and applications
Knowledge on networks, storage, and virtualization (VMware)
Familiarity with MS Visio for documentation
Agile Development Methodologies knowledge (scrum, SAFe)
DevOps/DevSecOps system development experience
Proficiency in designing private cloud environments particularly compute servers
Automation tools such as Chef (preferred), Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack
Containerization experience (Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher)
Implementing DISA STIGs experience
Pay: 50-58

Pay Details: $50.00 to $58.00 per hour
