Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and working within the SEC and Technical Accounting teams on the preparation of the Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q and the Annual Report on Form 10-K and assisting in the preparation of additional company filings
  • Research GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Assist in the management of the stock-based compensation accounting and reporting process
  • Help manage the maintenance of, and improve, internal controls related to both the SEC reporting and stock-based compensation accounting processes
  • Compile information necessary to draft financial statement footnotes
  • Assist external auditors with annual audit and quarterly reviews

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Master’s Degree and/or CPA are a plus
  • 2+ years of financial accounting experience is required
  • Public accounting experience is preferred with some exposure to SEC reporting

Skills and Qualifications: 

 

  • ASC 718 experience is a plus, as well as familiarity with financial consolidation software
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with MS Office Suite required, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate and establish working relationships with other departments and personnel

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
