RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Weighing, measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients according to recipes.
• Completes hot meal preparation by steaming, grilling, broiling, baking, or frying, meats, chicken, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Working environment is indoors / outdoors as needed.
• Working environments will be subject to varying degrees of summer heat during park schedule May to September.
• Checking food and ingredients for freshness.
• Attends to the detail and presentation of each order. 
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature logs as required. 
• Follows appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation on all food items.
• Stores leftovers according to established standards. 
• Works well under pressure and within time limits.
• Able to handle work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas. 
• Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing as needed. 
• Ensures smooth operations of kitchen services during absence of supervisor or lead.
• Assists with food & dry goods deliveries and completes restocking of stations, as needed.
• Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers in a very fast-paced environment.

 Education / Experience  

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Oral communication, adaptability, and decision making
• Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes.
• High energy level, ability to multi-task

REQUIRED 

• Current California Food Handling card
• Approved non-slip shoes 

Pay based on experience.
