CAD Drafting Technician

PrideStaff is looking for a CAD Drafting Technician for a client located in Arvada. This is a temp to hire opportunity based on client need and employee performance.

CAD Drafting Technician Duties:

• Produce CAD drawings for design, sheet metal manufacturing, floorplans, riser diagrams, and details that in size and scope
• Receive design documentation and produce submittal drawings
• Recreate designs to fit into standard size
• Use FA experience to help develop prefabrication solutions
• Create point to point wiring details
• Maintain and track project drawing files, associated records and documentation
• Reviews own drawings and co-workers drawings for quality and accuracy

CAD Drafting Technician Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years drafting experience in in the following industries:
  • Fire Alarm
  • Low voltage
  • Electrical wiring.
  • CNC and Sheet Metal Solid Works
• NICET Level II Certification and CAD Experience a big plus!
• Strong knowledge/experience in AutoCAD 2014 or greater, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong customer service focus
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Highly motivated, self-starter, mature and career oriented
• Willing to work overtime as needed
