Summary of Major Functions:

Provide support and maintain structure for patients in the Partial Hospitalization Program outside of regular program hours and during transition times. Services include transporting patients to and from program, participating in meals, encouraging the abstinence of eating disorder behaviors, communicating with program staff, and encouraging a calm, supportive environment in the house.

This is an on-site role in Denver, CO.

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, (Hourly); evening and/or weekend availability a MUST

Schedule Availability:

  • Tuesday 6p-6a
  • Wednesday 10p-6a
  • Thursday 6p-6a
  • Friday 10p-10a

Pay: $22.50 - $24.50 per hour

Summarized Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Participates in meals with patients in a fashion consistent with current policies and procedures; eats and models appropriate eating behaviors during assigned mealtimes with patients.
  2. Thoroughly integrates new housemates into the structure of the Supportive House by demonstrating knowledge of all aspects of the Supportive House and by making patients familiar with the rules, expectations, and routines of the house.
  3. Maintains daily schedules and structure, specifically around transport times, meal times, and bed times.
  4. Monitors housemates' activities, appropriate to adult patient population, to ensure safety and accountability.
  5. Demonstrates ability to hold strong personal boundaries and ability to build rapport with house occupants.
  6. Relays clinical information and observations about a patient to the treatment team when appropriate.
  7. Is creative in interactions with house occupants to maintain a safe, supportive environment.
  8. Remains alert and available and in a physical location that assures the ability to respond to situations as they arise.
  9. Is present and available for housemate requests and needs; provides outreach when necessary.
  10. Timely completion and accuracy of paperwork, including daily logs and forms.
  11. Contributes to the well-being of all housemates by serving as a positive role model, demonstrating a professional and caring manner in all interactions.
  12. Maintains confidentiality of all patient information.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in the behavioral health required.

2. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.

3. Valid Driver's License required.

Sitting frequently, standing occasionally, walking occasionally, talking occasionally, hearing constantly, seeing constantly, reaching with arms and hands occasionally, crouching occasionally and using fingers intricately. This position requires lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds occasionally.


Environmental conditions of this job include but are NOT limited to:

95% inside, 99% normal temperature and 99% normal noise as expected in a neighborhood home environment.
