Service Advisor / Writer - Full-time

Job Purpose:

Greet customers entering the repair facility. Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer rapport.

Duties:

* Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; entering RO into the service database system.

* Ascertain automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.

* Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Automotive Service Writer/Advisor: 1 year (Preferred)

• ASE certification (preferred)
• Must have a valid drivers license
