Employer Spotlight: Harris Teeter
At Snagajob, we pride ourselves on keeping our customers happy and creating long-lasting relationships. Today we’re highlighting Harris Teeter, our partnership together that has spanned more than 13 years, and our valued contact Eric Hinson.
Harris Teeter is a chain of grocery stores founded in 1960 and based in North Carolina, operating more than 250 stores and 60 fuel centers in seven states and the District of Columbia. Owned by the Kroger Co., Harris Teeter employs more than 35,000 workers.
Every Harris Teeter location works with Snagajob to post their jobs, and together we’ve helped them fill over ten thousand positions over the years. Dozens of their locations also use our gig work solution, Shifts by Snagajob, which has helped them cover over 3,000 shifts in 2023 alone.
A key player in our relationship with Harris Teeter is Eric Hinson, Manager of Recruiting and Training. He is retiring this month after 17 years with Harris Teeter and 38 in the grocery industry. Like the millions of job seekers searching on Snagajob each month, Eric started out working hourly roles, beginning as a clerk trying his skills in many departments before working his way up to store management, and eventually into corporate roles.
On working with Eric, Beth Burdette, Snagajob Client Development Executive, says:

While Eric is beginning on his well-deserved retirement, our ongoing partnership with Harris Teeter continues, and we look forward to continuing to help them find the perfect workers for their stores for years to come.
