With inflation putting the kibosh on holiday planning, 57% of the more than 3,700 hourly workers we surveyed report that they’re looking for a seasonal job in 2022. Many of them are looking for a second job above and beyond their current position.

Naturally, money is the major motivator. But how much will it take to win over job seekers? Check out our Holiday Hiring Report for a nationwide breakdown of what hourly workers are expecting from a seasonal paycheck, per hour. Here are a few figures to whet your appetite:

  • 26% of retail workers expect to earn a minimum of $15 per hour

  • 6% of restaurant workers expect to earn $20 or more per hour

  • 9% of hotel & hospitality workers expect to earn a minimum of $10 per hour

  • 8% of warehouse & logistics workers expect to earn a minimum of $18 per hour
