About who needs care: Mom has frontotemporal dementia, behavioral variant. She is in good physical condition and loves getting her 10, 000 steps in a day. She has strange social behaviors though and approaches strangers and talks to them. This would need to be diverted. She would like to walk from 8 a.m. -10 a.m. every day except Sunday. About the care needs: Someone who can walk for 2 hours (slow pace). Dementia experience would be helpful. Services needed include: companionship.
