Resources to help during the coronavirus pandemic
Even if your current employer has shut down for a few weeks, there are still places that are open and need your help. We surveyed our employers and 35% say they need additional workers to handle increasing demand.
Here’s everything you need to help you find work right now:
Let us create your resume: Putting one together can seem overwhelming, so we’ve made it easy for you. Just create or update your Snagajob profile, including work experience and education info (don’t worry, we’ll walk you through it). Once you’re done, click “Download Resume” and you’ll get a PDF.
Look for home delivery roles: If you have a car, there’s a big demand for delivery drivers right now. These jobs are a great way to keep earning money while following social distancing recommendations by the CDC.
Look for jobs at grocery stores and wholesale retailers: These stores will remain open through these uncertain times and they need workers.
Look for jobs in consumer retail stores: These stores are urgently hiring and will remain open as they supply essential goods.
Refer your friends: In times like this, it’s important for communities to come together and help each other out. If you see a job that you think a friend would be great for, make sure you hit the pink “Refer friends, get paid” link on the job description. They can jump on the chance to apply, and you can get a $5 gift card.
Community is important during this scary time. The Snagajob community includes thousands of hourly workers who are also impacted. Join us on Facebook and Instagram — we’ll continue to provide resources and opportunities daily
