Katy Boyles |
Katy is our Social Media Manager at Snagajob, where she loves talking to hourly workers and employers all day long. Her first hourly job was as a hostess.

Even if your current employer has shut down for a few weeks, there are still places that are open and need your help. We surveyed our employers and 35% say they need additional workers to handle increasing demand.

Here’s everything you need to help you find work right now:

  • Let us create your resume: Putting one together can seem overwhelming, so we’ve made it easy for you. Just create or update your Snagajob profile, including work experience and education info (don’t worry, we’ll walk you through it). Once you’re done, click “Download Resume” and you’ll get a PDF.

  • Refer your friends: In times like this, it’s important for communities to come together and help each other out. If you see a job that you think a friend would be great for, make sure you hit the pink “Refer friends, get paid” link on the job description. They can jump on the chance to apply, and you can get a $5 gift card.

Community is important during this scary time. The Snagajob community includes thousands of hourly workers who are also impacted. Join us on Facebook and Instagram — we’ll continue to provide resources and opportunities daily
